Weight

It is a significant factor within the performance of a wheelchair. This is why the Youngster has been stringently reviewed with regards to this aspect. Large reductions have now been made over the old Youngster 2 on the front castor mounting, rear wheel axle and cross brace that hold the chair together. New lightweight options are also available that include a carbon fibre look side guard, specialist rear wheels plus a breathable back upholstery. 

Styling

As an extension of your body and lifestyle, it is important that a wheelchair looks as good as it possibly can. The modern look has been achieved via updating the frame paint colours & spoke guards, rear wheel axle and by utilising a curvaceous front castor mounting. This castor mounting, as previously mentioned is lighter by design, is made from proven technology and with wider placement of the castors ensures that the chair is stable and safe.
