The New EZ Lock
We are pleased to announce the highly anticipated release of the 3rd generation Wheelchair Docking System. The New BL-7317 Docking system is the result of more than 20 years of research and hands on experience from the EZ Lock team.
The BL-7317 combines all the best attributes of the original EZ Lock, with significant enhancements to system durability, serviceability, and visual aesthetic.
Features of the New BL-7317 System:-
Separate Mounting Plate
Once the mounting base is affixed to the vehicle floor, service and inspection can be performed without getting beneath the vehicle.
Spacer plates are available for applications that require elevation of the docking base.
Dependable Electronics
The ECU-3 electronic control systems are second to none in reliability and accuracy. The exclusive ECU-3 circuitry incorporates safety features such as ‘Accidental Detachment Protection’ which is not found in other docking systems.
Removable Lock Mechanism
The modular component design allows the locking mechanism to be easily removed for routine service or inspection.
Tamper resistant bolts ensure that non-qualified persons are unable to gain access to the interior of the docking base.
Hardened Steel Reinforcement
The hardened steel appliance protects the v-guide entry slot from undue wear, especially when using large power wheelchairs in the EZ Lock wheelchair docking system.
Remote Manual Release
Our fully integrated optional remote manual release allows the unaccompanied driver to release the docking base.
Provides a fail-safe method of emergency wheelchair release in the event of vehicle electrical failure.
New Look
The hammered silver finish is as tough as it is beautiful. With proper care the finish will last the lift of the docking base. The sleek streamlined shape provides a low, unobtrusive profile, with no sharp corners to snag.
