Turnin Swivel Seat

The Turnin is a swivel base, intended for MPVs and Minibuses to facilitate transfers between a wheelchair and a seat inside the vehicle.

The wheelchair passenger enters the vehicle via a ramp or wheelchair lift and secures their wheelchair into an appropriate restraint. They then swivel the the Turnin into position, transfer from their wheelchair and then swivel the Turnin into the final seated position in the vehicle.

The system is electrically operated by a manual control and swivelling stops when the button on the manual control is released, allowing the users to move their legs at their own pace. The forward extension of the chair is controlled manually.

Turnin is crash-tested and the meets requirements of current legislation and regulations and is a CE-labelled product.

This Adaptation requires fitting by an Approved Installer so it is not available to purchase through this website. We do not currently offer this Adaptation on our Mobile Fitting Scheme but it can be installed by our Experienced Mobility Technicians at our premises in South Molton, North Devon.
