Space Drive Mini Steering Wheel

This system consists of an Electronic Mini steering wheel with 4 secondary function buttons. There is also a range of orthopaedic steering aid attachments available to aid the Driver in gripping the wheel. The wheel requires very little effort to turn it and can be adjusted to suit the individuals requirements. The Mini wheel is usually fitted in conjunction with an additional Space Drive Accelerator and brake system, such as the Gas/brake lever or the 2-way Gas/brake Joystick. On most vehicles the original steering wheel is exchanged for a smaller quick-release version, enabling it to be removed when the Mini wheel is in use, but retaining the option for the vehicle to be driven as standard.

This Adaptation can  only be fitted by a Paravan Trained Mobility Specialist and is not available in kit form. Due to the complex nature of this adaptation we recommend that a Driving Assessment is completed prior to having this adaptation fitted.
